Become A Millionaire

Today was my family day – every Sunday is.

Every Sunday, I’m reminded of what’s truly important in my life.

I’m reminded why I’m choosing to attract a life of abundance
(and the challenges that come with it) and who it’s for.

I love children. There’s always been a form of magnetism kids
have towards me – maybe that’s because I’m attracted to
them in the first place – and I’ve always made time to entertain
them!

When I have a family of my own, with a beautiful (and hot!) wife,
we will have 4 kids – 2 boys and 2 girls – and they’ll all grow up
in a house of abundance… of love and everything else!

I attended Ustaz Tarmizi’s talk (or as I affectionately call him, Mizi) this evening about An Attitude of Gratitude and he
touched on one really important thing that I’d like to share with you
today.

“Before you ask for anything, be grateful with what you already have first.”

It’s common sense but it’s not common practice for me.

Be grateful with what you already have first, Champ!

Like I said before, I’m going to be really transparent on this journey.

Right now, I’m in Procrastination Hell but I’m going to bed now and
tomorrow will be Action Heaver!

But just a few things that I’d like to record some tips so as to learn
from these mistakes and not get into Procrastination Hell again…

1) NEVER Start Your Day By Watching TV

DON’T : In today’s experience, it proves to me that this NEVER
works out to be something good. One tv show will turn into
two, three, four and next thing you know it, the day’s gone.

DO: Start the day with a small victory and that will
roll into two, three, four, five bigger successes and next thing
you know it, you’re fulfilled and you just made some money! ;)

2) ALWAYS Clear Today’s Get-To-Do List Today NO MATTER WHAT

DON’T: I felt alot of anxiety when I didn’t complete my Get-To-Do
List yesterday. It seemed like I was doing too much work in one day
and that it’s not achievable in a day!

DO: Complete everything on that list and nothing more!

3) Set How Many Hours You Work Daily

DON’T: As an Entrepreneur, you kind of have all the time in the world
to do what you want and when you want but therein lies a problem…

You don’t know when to stop and you don’t know how long to stop.

In my case, I realized that the only reason why I chose to watch TV
as a start to my day was because I had done A LOT of work the day
before and that I deserve the rest.

However, I was supposed to be working that day too so what
happened was that I found myself in the gray zone and to be honest,
I felt slightly depressed by the end of the day.

DO: Set your off days before hand and what you want
to do on that day. This creates the anticipation and you’ll have fun
without worrying about what you’re supposed to be doing.

BONUS SECRET : I noticed that when I changed my
environment from working on my bed (I know, BAD CHOICE!) to
working in my back-office on a proper table, I got more things done.

You should try it sometime! ;)

It’s 2:44 AM as I type this so I better make this quick.

I just got back from my preview seminar for Train The Trainers
and it was a REALLY good experience!

We brought in close to $24,000 as a team in that three and
a half hours and gosh I learnt so much!

1) I Stepped Up To The Plate

I was the very first person to speak on stage and that is very
important because it sets the tone for the whole seminar.

I was quite nervous because usually Master Trainer Gabriel
Suppiah (who makes $20,000 per day training) would do
this and he was EXCELLENT at it.

So, I stepped up and yes, I did manage to get everyone into
a REALLY EXCITED state and I did get everyone REALLY HAPPY
but I believe my lack of experience showed.

But I did have the courage to step up and I’ll only get better
from here. Which brings me to my next learning point…

2) Never Compare Yourself To Others

I noticed that while it’s really empowering to be around these
amazing trainers namely, Gabriel Suppiah, Harasha Bafana and
Suria Mohd, it can also be a little demoralizing.

I began to compare my standards and of course my standard
is abit lower because I’ve only started doing training for the
past 2 months.

So I can’t expect to be as good as someone like Gabe who’s
been doing it for close to 10 years, can I?

Can I be at that standard? Yes, give me 10 more months.

Although it was subconscious, I realized that I began downplaying
my strengths and unfortunately, my worth.

Harasha said something which spoke to me.

She said, “Focus on what you’re good at and be the best at it…”

And I realized that I was doing the 40 people in the room a
disservice by not letting my gifts and myself shine.

I am who I am. I have strengths. I’ll shine with it.

3) “Money Is The Result But Not The Objective!”

This was Gabriel’s response when I asked him if I should put
money as my number 1 priority or inspiring others as my
number 1 priority in order to make my first million.

And just to give you some context, Gabriel has made over
$10 Million per year before and so this man KNOWS what
he’s talking about.

So, he told me,”You’re on the right track!”

And so I’ll declare my true purpose here again just for you
guys to see and breathe it in :

“My true purpose in life is to inspire everyone I meet to
discover the power and beauty of the Spirit within them
by marinating themselves in all the intoxicating experiences
Life has to offer, living their biggest dreams, accomplishing
the seemingly impossible and touching as many lives as
possible.”

Champ, I invite YOU to live a life of purpose.

I’ll be reading my purpose twice everyday and ALREADY
it has given me more fulfillment when I helped someone
out because it’s my purpose and not because I wanted
to make money out of it.

Live on purpose and purpose will give you Life.

Gosh that sounds good!

I’m sitting here at 3:11 AM in the morning, on my bed
on this serene Singapore night and I’m thinking…

This journey has been more… exciting than expected!

In my first video, I mentioned a quote from Zig Ziglar
who said, “People who know what and how will always
end up working for people who know why.”

A few days ago, I had my reason why… or so I thought.

My reason why was that I took a year off school to pursue
my business full-time and that I should use this time to
fully commit to making my first million.

6 months has passed and while my business is hitting
5 figures this month, the promise to myself was to hit
my first million by July 1st 2010.

That intention was set on July 1st 2009.

Now, I realize that it’s not a good reason why because
if all I’m doing is to fulfill my promise, why did I promise
myself that in the first place?

And why measure it by $1,000,000?

I am constantly reminded when I look at my vision board
that “Wealth, when sought after directly, will never be
achieved. It only comes as the by-product of providing
useful service.”

Henry Ford said that… so it must be true!

And I’m also reminded of a Tony Robbins recording back
in the 90′s when he said, “If you focus on making money
you’ll do okay. If you focus on helping people and giving
the best you can, you’ll do excellent.”

Anthony Robbins said that… so it must be true!

So, what I’m hearing is that I get to serve people (which
I love to do!) and get paid to do it?

Sounds like an EXCELLENT deal to me! =)

Now, let’s break this down…

My target is to hit $1,000,000.

This can go many ways.

I can get 1,000,000 people to pay me $1… or

I can get 100,000 people to pay me $10… or

I can get 10,000 people to pay me $100… or

I can get 1,000 people to pay me $1,000…or

I can get 100 people to pay me $10,000… or

I can get 10 people to pay me $100,000… or

I can get 1 person to pay me $1,000,000.

This is my most sincere belief…

I can see myself being paid $1,000 by a person…

BUT…

I don’t see myself being paid $10,000 by one person.

YIKES! Limiting belief here! Will have to work on my
receiving muscle here!

Do I see myself being paid $2,000? YES.

How about $3,000? YES but I’m thinking it’s going to
be excellent service…

Now that I think about it, I do see myself being paid
$10,000 by one person IF I’m able to give them at
least a good return on investment… maybe 5 to 10 times.

Hmmmm… Interesting thought. I’ll think on that!

As for now, I’ll stick to the $1000 to 1000 people
formula because I don’t seem to have any resistance
to this at all…

So how can I serve 1000 people in such a way that they’ll
be MORE THAN HAPPY to pay me $1,000 for it each?

Return on Investment.

Life-changing Experience.

Personal Coaching.

Inspiring and Revitalizing Their Lives.

Emotional Experience.

That last one seems to be the basis of why people buy
ANYTHING so I’ll have to remember that – IMPORTANT!

Back to my reason why…

I find it really UNinspiring to go after $1,000,000.

I don’t think anyone want pieces of paper with pictures
of dead people on them.

I think people want what money gives them.

Some people get driven by seeing the numbers increase
in their bank account because it gives them a sense of
accomplishment… but no, that doesn’t work for me.

What drives me… no, what INSPIRES me is the amazing
feeling of fulfilment that comes from helping someone else
LIVE their BIGGEST DREAMS…

Of putting my hand on their shoulder, smiling at them,
looking directly into their eyes and with all my sincerity
say, “I believe in you. I KNOW you can do it because you
are UNLIMITED… if only you knew where you came from…”

And this ties in nicely to me re-discovering my purpose in life:
Or part of it at least because somehow it feels incomplete.

“My true purpose in life is to inspire everyone I encounter to live their biggest dreams, accomplish the seemingly impossible and discover the greatness, love and beauty of the very Spirit that God has gifted them since the day they were born.”

I believe it starts with me living MY biggest dreams…

And to accomplish this seemingly impossible task of hitting
my first million in 6 months…

And it all starts by serving others.

That’s exactly what I’m about to do and that what I think you
should do too, Champ!

Hey Champ!

It’s Saif here and I wanted to personally thank you
for coming along for the ride towards my first million.

You know, the moment I created yesterday’s video and
put it out to the world, something strange began to
happen..

My goal became REAL.

And what do you think happened next?

FEAR started to set in.

“What if I don’t hit my goal?”

“What if this doesn’t work out?”

“What will people think of me?”

What if. What if. What if.

“STOP!”

I started taking full cleansing breaths and said to
myself, “Saif, you’re already a Millionaire…”

Your heart is worth at least ten million dollars.

Your brain is worth at least another ten million dollars.

Our ability to breathe, think and do everything normally
is something that we take for granted everyday.

And when I began to think this way, I began to feel…

GRATITUDE. GRATITUDE. GRATITUDE.

And things started to work out much more easily!

So, I say Champ, you’re ALREADY a Millionaire.

And if you don’t agree with my thinking, then ask yourself this:

“Would I become a Millionaire by feeling the same way I’ve
always felt or by FEELING the way a Millionaire does?”

Abundance.

“More will come even if I don’t close this deal.”

“I have more than I need in this moment and everything
else is a bonus.”

When I started coming from this place, things start
to fall into place easily.

And so my lesson for the day is to replace FEAR
with GRATITUDE.

Because this is a JOURNEY!

And journeys should be fun, wouldn’t you agree?
